To receive
the SMS messages, you must enter your mobile number into your personal
profile, including your county code.
You will be responsible
for any costs associated with using the SMS notification system.
SMS messages will originate from a US telephone number. Please contact
your wireless carrier for more information.
- If
you do not wish to receive SMS notifications,
please remove your mobile number from your personal profile.
- If
you already receive meeting requests and
messages to your Blackberry or other mobile email device, you will
continue to
receive notifications onsite.
Step-by-Step
Instructions:
- Log in to your account.
- Click on the Edit button,
located
beneath your general profile information.
- The Edit page for your personal
profile will load.
- Scroll down till you see the
Mobile
text field.
- If your mobile number is not
entered, enter it including your country code. (For example, for US
based numbers the country code
is "1".)
- The
system will not be able to send SMS message to your mobile number
unless it is entered in the correct format (country code plus the
number).
- If your number is already
listed,
verify that the number is correct and ensure that the number includes
your country code. (For example, for US based numbers the country code
is "1".)
- Scroll down to the bottom of
the
Edit page and click on the Save button.
- Your number will be uploaded
into
the system and your mobile phone enabled to receive SMS messages during
the event.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8.0, please click on the
Compatibility View button on your web browser to be fully compatible
with biopartnering.com.
